This packaging gets me every time.
Winter hibernation. It was cold outside so I roasted a chicken and gorged on dressing (green apple, cranberry, celery, onion, the usual suspects).
Dessert at a local restaurant. Smoked mascarpone, walnut streusel, bourbon granita, reduced pear poaching liquid (from another dessert). So much texture and flavor and temperature variation!
Snow day chili. We have been eating this for breakfast and dinner for a week now. I still like it.

Cabbage slaw tossed with olive oil, lime juice, salt, pepper. Sautéed sweet peppers and red onion. Pico de gallo. Salsa loca.
New dessert at work;
In the bottom of the glass there’s pineapple roasted with dark brown sugar. The top layer is pineapple purée, and with a dollop of pandan whipped creme. Black sesame seeds, chiffonade of mint.
Secret Breakfast at Humphrey Slocombe’s was everything I dreamed it would be.
